Safety Vests
MCR Safety's -Public Safety Vest (PSV) Standard ANSI/ISEA 207-2006: Public Safety Vests are designed to assist in the protection of workers that are in service to the public. Some examples of this include, but not limited to, Fire, EMS, and Police personnel. These vests are shorter, allowing the user quick access to equipment such as weapons, triage and medical equipment, or other essential tools that might be on their belts and/or pockets.
Our PSV offerings incorporate a 5 point break-away, adjustable closure system. Both shoulders, both sides, and front closure have hook & loop material to ensure comfortable fitting and break-away release for safety. Each vest features a mic-tab on both the left and right chest to secure a microphone, walkie talkie, or other communication device. One size fits medium through XL.
PSV303A, PSV304A, PSV308A: These new PSV styles are constructed from polyester material with a solid front for stability and a mesh back for air flow. Lime Background material with 2” 3M Scotchlite™ retro-reflective materials that encircles the torso and extends over each shoulder from front to back. PSV303A is preprinted with POLICE in black letters on reflective stripes, PSV304A is preprinted with FIRE, and PSV308A is preprinted with EMS. A one-half inch colored trim is incorporated into the PSV vest to allow different safety industries to be identified by color.
Blue – Law Enforcement
Red – Fire Service
Green – Emergency Medical Service (EMS)
PSV300A (lime) , PSV301A (orange): Lime or Orange Background material with double 1” 3M Scotchlite™ retro-reflective stripes on contrasting 4” lime or orange stripes that encircles the torso and extends over each shoulder from front to back.
